I noticed some hydro fluid seeping from around my L4200's tranny site glass. I've been told that it uses an o-ring seal, so no biggie. I want to replace the o-ring (or maybe I just need to tighten the glass?) - I don't know how to get the site glass off/on. Please advise.

Thanks - Jay

The site glass may be broken. I replaced mine because it was broken but forgot if there was an O ring. Still it was easy and requires a small amount of sealant, the factory used some. The tractor parts man can tell you how it is made when he looks the part up on the computer. About 1/2 gallon or less of UDT will come out if you don't drain prior to removing the glass.
Sorry to not be more help!
