Repair or replace

My mf 250 tractors engine is frozen would it be best to repair or buy another tractor. Would my accessorys fit a compact tractor?

Haven't the faintest Idea what ENGINE you are talking about. Sometimes a flywheel magnet will come loose jamming into the stator locking the engine. You need to try to determine why, where the engine is locked. Depends on the engine then whether there is any hope of repair.

Thanks, the rattling noise sounded like be hide engine but I couldn't be sure

Here again you did not furnish info - you said nothing about a rattling noise. I can't help you.
