Anyone have any ideas? Tried TR3 Rake but does not work well if damage is severe and not on flat ground. In Alabama. Sandy clay. Have JD 5065e

I've tried a few things. Almost bought a TR3 rake. Glad I didn't now.

Best solution I've found is to run the disc over the ground a few passes, run a cultipacker over it a few passes (breaks up clods) and then drag it with a land plane grading scraper.

I just made a drag out of a RR Crosstie and some chain link fence (got scraps free from a fencing company). I've not had much luck with the drag as it bounces severely and so I have to go slow.

I also tried a chain harrow from Tractor Supply. Almost worthless.

Though it is a lot of work, disc, cultipacker and LPGS has worked best for me. FYI, I pull the cultipacker behind the disc and that gets two steps done per pass.

Good luck.

If it's really bad, but no massive holes, I just back drag the area with my loader bucket. If there is a hole thats really deep, I'll bring a load of dirt in the bucket and fill it before backdragging. But most of the time I can just bush hog over it and in a few months, it sort of levels itself out.

Depends on the area that was damaged. I've had to deal with clumps of sod, holes, etc. I ended up going with a rototiller which chops up the sod, fills in the holes, then use a drag to finish it off.

In my back yard I just pulled a roller over the area. Didn't look all that great right away but after a few weeks you couldn't tell they were there.

Appreciate all the suggestions. Think bottom line is that there is no easy solution. I have used front end loader, disc, tiller, TR3 rake, traps and hunting. No lasting solution until solution to get rid of pigs is figured out. Then my land has to be completely reworked. Damage tears up equipment and creates dangerous environment if you have to work slopes and terraces.

My flail mower, in ground engagement mode. I basically wore out a set of hammer blades until I got completely fenced.
