replace 2 lever FEL control with new 2 spool block and lever?

Kicking this out to the JD brain trust on the forum.

I have a JD750 with model 67 FEL, which came stock with a 2 lever selective valve.

I believe that the selective valve is failing / needs a rebuild. The control for the boom no longer has a detent for the float position, and both levers are sloppy and worn, despite adding some plastic washers to correct wear and tear.

Has anyone replaced their twin stick FEL control with something else? I'm wondering if a unit like this would be a good replacement, and would love to hear your experience(s) if you've made a similar swap.

Yes, you can replace it with that valve on the link.

Just make sure you figure out how many hoses the current valve has. If it has 6 hoses total, you can just order the new valve. If it has 7 hoses total, you need to order the new valve along with the PowerBeyond (PB) sleeve/fitting for that valve.

Also, it may need some fabrication for a new mount for the new valve as it most likely won't fit on the factory location.

Lastly, you may need some adapters for the old hoses to thread on the new valve but don't quote me on that.
