Oil & Fuel replace hyd hose. kubota 1100

I have a high pressure leak in the hose that comes off the hydraulic pump and goes to the lever to raise the bed. is there a shut off valve on the hydraulic tank ,as I take it when I remove the hose from the pump all the hyd fluid will leak out of the tank. I know this super udt is very expensive so if there isn't there should be and shame on Kubota. thanks in advance for all replys from all the knowledgeable people on here. sincerely 01hunter570

after thinking about this for a few days, i went to harbor freight and bought a non submersible pump for about $55 which has garden hose type fittings on both ends. used a hose with no fitting on one end to fit down the filler hole on hyd tank put discharge hose in a clean jug and in no time I had the hyd tank pumped out. now I can change the hose without leaking the hyd fluid all over. thanks for all the views hopefully this will help someone else. regards and best wishes 01hunter570

The more common way to limit the amount of escaping fluid would be to connect a shop vac to the fill port on the tank.

This puts the tank under a slight vacuum. For fluid to leave the tank, air must be able to enter the tank which the shop vac prevents.
