Replacement engine question

Does anyone know how I can find out what engines could replace a Tecumseh XL Hm80 (155630s).
I bought a leaf vac and the motor needs some work and I am wondering if a replacement engine may not be a better way to go if I can find one.

I believe a Briggs of equal size will mount to the same bolt pattern. What will be difficult is determining will the fuel tank, carb , oil fill/drain, etc be accessible. I have never seen an interchange chart for Tecumseh but I am sure some dealer know. Just have to find them.

Do you have good local dealer. They might have some motors on the shelf where you take some measurements and get a better idea of what will fit and what won't.

I have a agri fab leaf vac I bought real cheap and the motor is sort of crap. I maybe able to fix/rebuild it but by the time I do I figure I will have as much in it as buying a new motor so I am looking.

Keep an eye out for old snow blowers. tecumseh owned that market for years. You would probably have to add an air filter since most snow blowers don't have one.

Another option would be garden tillers. A lot of them used horizontal engines also.
