Would one of the M-series be an adequate replacement for a White 2-70 (Oliver 1655) diesel that I currently own? I would be using it on 25 acres to grow vegetables using implements such as 150 gallon 3 point sprayer, 10' 3-point disc, 3x16" 3-pt plow and a 2x16" rollover plow. I might want to move up to a 3x16" rollover plow if possible.
It seems like the M-series have the horsepower but not the weight of the older farm tractors, almost like comparing a manufacturer's compact utility tractor to a regular utility of the same horsepower. I am sure the White weighs over 7000 lbs; the engine is 283 cu. inches, around 72 hp.
What, if anything, would be a Kubota equivalent model?
