As soon as I fix one thing, something else happens. I was working on the CK20 and noticed hydraulic oil was leaking all over the place from under the hood. I opened it up and saw that it was coming from the part shown in the photo. I believe it might be a radiator for the hydraulic oil? It's small, and must have cracked because it was spewing it everywhere. Can anyone help me identify the name of the part and where I could get a replacement?

Thanks!

Your correct. It's the hydraulic oil cooler. By checking this dealer's site, OEM Parts, it lists this cooler part number for the CK20H. If you check the cooler for a CK25H or CK30H, the part number is different. I don't know if the CK20H cooler is interchangeable with the CK25H and CK30H. The part you found on ebay is an oil cooler but unknown if it would fit yours. I guess you would just have to trust the seller. Also it's about half the cost of the new style from a dealer.

I do know that Kioti has redesigned the cooler and it is better against failure. The one pictured on ebay and in your tractor is the older design. Kioti also changed those solid steel connection lines to a partial rubber line. The solid steel lines help the cooler vibrate and fail sooner. It's a pretty easy job to replace the cooler. Read this post where the cooler was replaced on a CK25H which should be very similar to yours. The post also shows the rubber lines. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kioti-owning-operating/299973-ck25-leaking-hydraulic-fluid.html

Thanks so much for the info Victor. I think I might give ebay a shot. I don't know the previous owner of the tractor, but things seem to be going wrong and I think I just need to do an overhaul of maintenance.

I did see elsewhere about the rubber lines, I might not be up for the challenge with this tractor, I am hoping to only keep it another 2 years before I upgrade to something larger. Learning as I go, and this forum is invaluable.

After looking at the picture of your tractor's cooler, the only thing I can see different is that your cooler is not as tall as the one on ebay but the ebay one is the same height as mine on my CK30hst. Actual height is 5 1/4 inches. It looks like you have the room for the taller cooler and the connections look the same. I'd bet that it would fit and connect without a problem. Those older style coolers with the steel lines were a design problem and many failed. No maintenance could save them. Those rubber lines aren't cheap so if you are looking to upgrade in a few years, no use spending the extra. Maintenance does go a long way to keep things working properly and a once over probably wouldn't hurt. Those screens in front of the radiator will pull up and out for easy cleaning.

Victor,

I ordered it on eBay and should have it in time for the weekend I hope. I am going to try and replace it without screwing anything up. Hopefully it solves the problem and will last me until I upgrade tractors!! Thanks again for the help.

When I replaced my CK30HST leaking oil cooler I used rubber grommets under the mounting bolts to further ease vibration.
