I have a 4' Frontier RC1048. I bent the blade holder shortly after I got it. I partially bent it back and tried to re-enforce it, but it just did not work out that well. Anyway, I want to replace it, but I'm concerned about just bending it again. Almost all my cutting is in the woods in rough terrain, so grounding it out, running over limbs, logs and saplings is SOP.
Since it appears they are fairly "standard", I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on a sturdier brand?
I saw one from a company called DNE parts that used a solid bar of 3/4" x 3". Do you think that would be stronger than the standard bent and braced 3/8" x 4"?
