Not absolutely sure mind you, never worked hands-on with any 300 series yet. But I don't see why my Switch Mod for the 200 Series shouldn't work just as well on your 354. It does have a glow plugs, right? See attachment, click on the imbedded link.

I used Greg's system and it worked great on my 284. Thanks for sharing Greg, it made winter starting easier and is real simple to do.
