I have 1999 earth Force EF-2, with a 28hp motor and a 6-8 gpm pump there is internal blow by in the backhoe control valve, notably loss of power in the boom cylinder and the backhoe falls to the ground pretty quick, the boom cylinder has been repacked. No one will rebuild and guarantee the valve because of it痴 age. I知 looking at standard valves that are rated for 8gpm. I知 finding that my hoses do a loop and all the valves I find have the high pressure and low pressure reversedo the left vs the right, in other words my valve is put in 90 degrees turned than standard backhoes. If I put in the valves I am finding on ebay the two outrigger joysticks would be further away from the operator than the backhoe controls. If that makes sense than my question is, if I get new high and low pressure hoses and put the valve in turned, can I use the left valve for right functions and the right valve for left functions? I don稚 see why not if I put the hoses in the correct place. The force needed to dig is of course more than to swing the boom, the spools are all the same size. In my mind this should work as long as I can get the valve mounted and the hoses all in, any thoughts?
