I ran over an old 8" hidden stump while mowing and it hit the metal tube leading out of my hyd pump and going to the filter. I didn't know it until I saw a puddle under the tractor the next morning. (Good thing I have a concrete floor in my shop, never would have seen it on a dirt barn or field) Anyway, I have ordered a new tube and plan on replacing it next week. Is there a NEED to replace the hyd filter too? With a "closed" system, no dirt, carbon, water or contaminants can enter. It has been about 180 hours (6 years),since I changed it and flushed the system. Thanks
