Replacing Seat on Craftsman 42" Mower - Need Advice

I have a Craftsman Lawn Tractor Model 917.273180, 17.5 HP, 42" Mower. I want to replace the seat, but NOT for $180+ dollars which is what it be if I bought from Sears Parts...

I want to make sure my substitute seat has the bolt pattern (see attachment P1020585) so it will slide and fit the existing mount.

Would appreciate any replies on a substitute seat and whether you had to modify it before you installed it.

I bought one @ Northern Tool supply for my Sears Garden Tractor 54" Portable Generators, Pressure Washers, Power Tools, Welders | Northern Tool + Equipment.
They have many to choose from around 100 bucks. Take a piece of paper and trace the mounting holes on you old on and go to the nearest Store or Order on-line.

Rural King and EBay have a wealth of options for $40-$60. That's the way I'm going with my Craftsman.
