Hi

I Currently own a 1989 John Deere 950 that I just bought a 8A Backhoe setup for. I don't have any idea how this hooks up but being a mechanic im sure I can figure somethings out. One of my main stumbling blocks is the Power Beyond Hook up since Deere no longer carries it. Does anyone have this setup mounted up and Can zap me a couple photos of what it gets hooked up to ? I have the Hydraulic Schematic but a picture (s) would be great to see what I have to design and build to make it work. Also pictures of the actual Hook Ups of the iron would be nice too.

I can't promise, but I may can get you a picture. There is a place on my way home that sells used equipment and he has a little JD with hoe that I haven't paid much attention to but is probably what you are looking for. The tractor is a little 50 or 55 series Yanmar built Deere for sure and it has a Deere hoe on it. I'll stop and look tonight and if it is I'll take some pictures.

This is your hyd specs

Hydraulics:
Type: open center
Capacity: 4.75 gal [18.0 L] (early)
5.25 gal [19.9 L] (after 1984)

Where is the small line from your attachment pump going?

If it is going back to the 3pt, you can interrupt that line and feed the pump flow into the FEL valve IN port.

The PB port with adapter will now feed the 3pt, or remote if you have one.

FEL valve tank port will go to tank/reservoir.
