Nice pictures! Looks like that rake is coming in handy, you could probably get by with a larger one too!

Now you need a backhoe, that stump would have been a 10 minute project.

Congrats on the new tractor. What an animal! Great pictures.

Just a note comes to mind. In the picture (Kioti7) it appears by the position of the bucket the curl cylinders would be fully extended and at the most vulnerable position for bending.....if......you're hooked on the stump pulling backwards. If not disregard this thought. :)

Welcome to the pack!

Don

yes a backhoe would be nice, but not in the budget right now..:(
I am fortunate that the tap roots on the pines only go down about 4 feet around here. Do they make a rake bigger then 7'?

Yes sir, they certainly do and I am in the market for an 8ft. rake this spring. I looked at a Befco 96" a month ago an like it a lot. I am just afraid that 7ft. maybe more manageable.

From the pictures it looked like a 6ft rake to me. I am sure 7ft is plenty, especially once you get into the top soil stuff.

I am going to say it's a 7ft. rake. My 7ft rear blade covers about the same distance (using his wheel tracks as a guide) and have the same machine. For a rear blade 7ft. for my purposes has been plenty, cleaning stalls, grading around barns etc. But for a rake which I would tend to use in more open area even to rake up horse manure it I so desire I could see an 8footer working.
