Rescued an NAA from the field- oil leak question

/ Rescued an NAA from the field- oil leak question #21
lead addatives are not needed.

NAA left the factorty with hardened exhaust and intake valve seats.

Tetra ethyl lead was an octane modifier ( sprak knock, ping, etc ).. for very low 70's octane gas. todays 87 octane gas is more than sufficient for these low rpm, low compression engines. ethanol.. are rough as it is on fuel systems, is also an octane modifier...

if you have dirty valves with deposits.. clean em up.. but 'lead addative' is more or less snake oil.
