Researching: 48" 3-Pt. Cultivator for BX2230 >> Blueberry Patch

Seeking 48" Cultivator which will fit Cat 1 Three Point Hitch on Kubota BX2230 sub-compact tractor. NEW or USED. North Florida

Will be used to cultivate 48" rows between Rabbiteye Blueberry Bushes in 3/4 acre Blueberry patch.

Using a TSC 48" Chain Harrow now. Need implement with more bite.

There does not seem to be much available for subcompact tractors.

(Owner of BX2230 is physically incapable of connecting PTO, so roto-tiller is out.)

Suggestions?

How about something like this.

Or, he has the same thing without the middle buster and bedders if those are not needed.

Of course, you can buy different size sweeps to reduce any gap between sweeps.

If you look on his site under "3 Point Toolbar Equipment" and "Tractor Tillage Equipment", he has quite a selection.

Most of them are pretty light, which might work for the owner with physical limitations.

CLD124 48" Toolbar Culivator appears complementary to BX2230.

$356.25 for 85 pound tool is doable; additional $211.50 shipping for 85 pound tool is a killer. ($567.75)

Have you had any experience with implements from this unnamed toolbar implement manufacturer?

I bought the six shank model, but haven't tried it out yet. (Still on pallet...) From looking at it, I think it is well made and worth the money. BTW-If you call you order in, you can request a 10% discount on freight charges. I would suggest speaking with them and trying to work out something more palatable as far as shipping. My experience was top notch with them.

Sorry, my bad. It makes me wonder though, your BX2230 has a Cat I hitch and the cultivator has a Cat I hookup. Maybe the height of the lift pins would keep the tractor from picking it up with enough clearance???
