Restoration of the engine of the Roper RT-13 tractor (Briggs&Stratton 302437)

I restore the old engine from the garden Roper RT-13 tractor. Model of the Briggs&Stratton 302437 engine. When dismantling faced a problem - I cannot find a tag for combination of gears of a cam-shaft and the crankshaft. Maybe who has an instruction on such engine? Thank you in advance.
If to whom photos of dismantling, restoration and assembly are interesting, I can photograph in process.

I will make a photo a bit later. In a gear wheel of a cam-shaft there is an opening of 6.5 mm, in the case there is an opening of 6.5 mm too. This only thing that I found and that is similar to tags.

There should be a mark on side one tooth and a mark on valley between two teeth.

Yes, in all engines that I met and repaired, tags stood thus. Therefore there was question why they are not visible from installation of pinion gears. Has decided to disassemble completely the gear, I will make tags of the current situation of pinion gears. That there was opportunity to return to this situation if I do not find tags on the other hand.

It appears that your engine has a gear drive on one end of the engine and the regular crankshaft drive on the other side. the side that is in your first picture is the gear drive and those gears are not timed. You should be able to remove a cover on the opposite side of the engine and that should expose the timing marks on the crankshaft and the camshaft.

I sorted it completely and found tags. Until cleaned everything, it was not visible. And tags in assembled form are closed by crankshaft counterbalances.
