This is a continuation of my 445a project. This shows a new high powered PM gear reduction starter, if you want crank up your 3cylinder Ford on the coldest of days with the least drain on the battery this is the way.
This also shows a relocated control valve for the hyraulic scraper box.

Very nice shop. I like the red iron frame. Floor dimensions?
Looks more like a business setup than a hobby shop.
What restoration projects are on your schedule?

Good luck

It is about 8000 feet total including the compressor and generator room. Next on the list is a restoration on my Jaguar e-type. But first I must finish my house. The tractor got squeezed in because I had a 2 week job to use it on that paid for it.
You can see more of the shop including construction on Garage Journal. Same user name and there they have albums.

Update of restoration on the Ford 445a. I made all new pins for the loader buck and cut off all the bucket ears and made new ones. Someone did very poor repair job. I made one new rod for the bucket level as it was missing. I sanded, primed and painted my work as I went along. I was able to get into places for painting while things were apart. After the paint dried for a couple days
I replaced the hoses. Leaving the old ones on allowed me to raise and lower and not worry about overspraying them.

Nice work and a fantastic shop. I've never seen a shop so clean. I have some projects exactly like this that are still few years out. I wanna go through and disassemble all of my tractor for a complete restoration. Not show room perfect but almost. Just curious, is there a reason you didn't make the loader bucket SSQA or something similar? I've called around and nobody makes the QA for the older industrial tractors because the back of the bucket is curved, everything has to be custom made. Here's a couple Internet pictures of something I'll be copying (with a few mods) for a grapple & loader forks.

I have a Gradall 36' forklift and a Clark 14' in the shop. But otherwise I would have.

That appears to be the same tractor base as my 3910. Do you have any info on the hydraulic adaptor block? (Part number, etc.)

City Farmer,

Quick attach does make the adapter for the Ford 445A and many other Fords. I have found them a couple of other places as well. They also sell a weld-on bracket for the bucket. I am sure some modifications would have to be made to the mounting due to the curved bucket as you mentioned.
