A member suggested that my lack of hydraulics is from loss of prime .
How do you restore?
TIA

Use about 5 lbs of air pressure in the reservoir using a rag or a V cone plug.

If you have a sump screen, clean that first.

J_J,

So far I have been unable to locate a sump screen. IN my search for the a screen I removed the drain plug on the bottom of the reservoir. I thought maybe there is a screen at that point. None found but I did see what appears to be a ball bearing about 3/8" in diam It flowed out with the 1st gush of hydrl fluid. Did this break off somewhere up stream?? Is this related to my problem of no hydraulics?

It is hard to say where that bearing came from, could be from a check valve assembly.

I would recommend a parts manual. You probably need one anyway.
