Folks,
Need your expertise, I have Ag tires on my B7800 and I am hard on the front loader moving large rocks 500lbs+, also with the narrow base of the tractor tipping is an issue. If I swap the front tires and reverse them giving me a wider stance will that help? Can the tractor's front suspension tolerate this?
Appreciate the input.

If you were not using a loader you could get away with it but using a loader with heavy loads I am sure you will have front end problems.:(

I swopped sides and reversed the front wheels on my B7100 four years ago because of the steep side hills at my old house. I have not had any front end problems.

Do you have a loader?

I do not think that reversing the ront tires will help with stabilaty,, because the front axle pivots. With a loaded bucket, I think you will tip before the axle bottems out on its stops.

your tractor does not have any suspension, other than the spongy-ness of the tires

Here is a discussion from another forum. I solved this for myself using some 12" rims and R1 trencher tires I found that matched up to the static loaded radius of the R4's they replaced. The offset was a perfect match, got lucky, even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.;) I had the R4's reversed for just a little while as seen on the last pic. I move rocks too.

You may not have suspension, but still as dww68 stated the front suspension pivots. So getting stability out of the front by increasing track width is far less effective than it is on the rear.

Hello,

I had ordered tire chains to fit the 23x8.4-14 Titan Trac Loaders on my 2004 B7800, only to realize that clearance with the steering linkage was an issue. I sent them back and lost the 25% re-stocking fee. After seeing several posts, including this one, I ordered them again, thinking an easy wheel swap would solve it. I now found out that the Left Wheel has a center rim while the right rim is offset by one inch. When I bolted the Right on the Left, it was easy and provided more clearance. When I did the same for the Left on the Right, it would not bolt up, and that's when I realize the valve stem guard was hitting the axle.

Is it normal for Kubota to have two different wheels on a tractor or is it more probable that the P.O. had a wheel replaced?

What wheel can I find that will match the 1" offset that the Right one has? One way or another, I plan to get these chains to fit as I cannot send them back again!

ANY suggestions would be appreciated!
