Tires Reversing wheels with turf tires

Does anyone know if you can reverse your wheels that have turf tires on them ? I would like to get a wider stance on the tractor for hills ? The tractor is a TC24.

I have a 2003 TC24D with 31x13.5-15 turfs. Manual says you can dish in (narrow) or dish out (wide) the wheels, but it also references both 29x12-15 and 31x13.5-15 tires as the size for the turfs on the TC24D throughout the manual. I think the wider tires are on the newer machines and the manual was not completely updated to correctly reference the larger tires. The 13.5" wide tires on my 2003 are so wide, it came with them already dished out and they cannot be mounted any other way. If your wheels appear to be mounted dished in, you can turn them around for a wider stance according my manual.

Thanks for the help. My TC24D has 31x13.5-15 turf tires on it. I tried last night to reverse one of the rear tires, and it's a no go. The wheels are as wide, as they can be.

I was thinking about making a spacer for each wheel to set the wheels out, to make a 3" wider stance ( 1 1/2" spacer for each wheel ) .

What do you guys think about the spacer idea ?

If they have your bolt pattern and length, should bolt right up.

A machine shop should also be able to make up a pair in steel or aluminum for a reasonable price as well.

I tried to dish out the front wheels of my TC29D and it went fine...until I mounted the 72" deck and tried to turn. The tires rubbed on the deck. I changed back to dished in fronts.
