I have a 60" LandPride finish mower and it really seems to get a build up of grass underneath. I scrape it down every other mowing and get 10 gallons of crud that really sticks under there. Has anyone tried spraying PAM or silicone to help keep the grass from sticking? Was wondering if there was some type of concoction made for this? If so anyone tried it before?
Thanks,
John

I try to make it a practice to wash the deck IMMEDIATELY after each mowing. It cleans easily then. If you let it dry, then it takes some soaking and scraping to clean it out. Since you have a RFM it should be easy for you to just raise the deck fully and hose it out. No need to get underneath.

Good Luck.

JackIL, I took your advice and washed the deck right after mowing approx 6 acres this AM and it definitely saves time. Took about 5 minutes to hose it out good vs the 20 or so mins it takes to scrape the dried junk out of there. I really didn't realize all that stuff was accumulating after one mowing.
Thanks,

John
