I'm new to tractors and I've had an interesting day. I bought a Ford 3910 on Friday, it only had 2100 hrs on it so I figured I'd go with it since everything seemed to work. (I didn't check the headlights)
1st a starter wire came off, no big deal except I turned on the headlights to see if I had power.
The dead short in the headlight harness showed it's ugly head pretty quickly so I had to repair some burned wiring before I could go any further.
I finally got to bush hog a few hours before it threw the blade pan. Does anyone know what size the castle nut for the gearbox shaft is? Nothing else seems to be damaged and the threads look ok but I can't find size and thread pitch for the nut.
Thanks in advance for your help.
