I think Hobby Horse Ranch sells these under a different name are they any good? Dependable? Can you get parts? The prices are good! If you have one how do you like it??

I've not seen Rhino products listed under anyone elses name but we do sell Rhino and they have been excellent as far as quality and durability.

josmart, are you asking about Rhino tractors, or Rhino implements? The only Rhino tractors I have ever seen was in 1995, when I stopped to look at a couple of old rusty tractors on a dealer's lot and found that they were NEW Rhino tractors; made in China. But if you're talking about Rhino brush hogs (rotary cutters), post hole diggers, etc., they have a darned good reputation.

Bird, I was talking Rhino tractors. I think Hobby horse used to sell Rhino tractors but now they sell them with there own name. I'd like to find someone that has bought from them so they can tell me what they are like.

josmart, I suspected you were talking about the Rhino tractors. I really don't know anything about them; never knew anyone who owned one (or would even consider owning one). I didn't have to look but a few minutes at those two in 1995 to know that I was not interested. They may be good, but I'd say to be very cautious.

Save your money. I own a 325 Rhino, with 110 hours. Maintenance nightmare. No parts availiable that I've been able to find. Oil filters almost non existant (mine takes one for a 1967 mercede or 1965 BMW) Understand the main parts distrubitor in Washington State, went out of business.

If you check through this forum you will find several posts on Chinese made tractors sold under a variety of names. Rhino, Nortrac, Hardy, Nellie belle, And who Knows what else. I have been able to find at least three factories in China producing tractors, but it's impossible to tell which factories are producing which tractors. The dealerships for these tractors seem to come and go, and alot of negatives have been posted. For my two cents, stick with New Holland, Kubota, JD, or even Massey. If a new one is out of the question, then look for a good used one.
