Riding mower leaves grass uncut

I finally tried a brand new set of blades for my mower. They cured my problem. I used the exact sears pn recommended in my owners manual. No more problems.

So it seems these after market blades sears is carrying that are supposedly like Gator blades wont work correctly with my older deck. The pn cross reference and the blades actually measure 1/4" longer than the stock blades.

So now it looks like I am out 30 bucks for these blades. I dont have my original box and receipt.

I am still at a loss. Must be a slight difference in design in my mower deck and what they are using now.
