I know that there are many places in the world where citizens have guns yet tyranny reigns. War/drug lords in Africa, Somalia, Colombia, Mexico, etc. impose terror and death on citizenry all the time. Possession of a rifle does not automatically assure safety or an ordered society.

I was a bit confused by the post too, but the people and places you reference, Fall into the category of "evil" which have the guns, the "good" don't.

I know why the guy posted it. I assume he is proud of his rifle. I'm proud of my rifle too. Nothing wrong with being proud of your rifle.

RSKY is just posting a quote about rifles..probably to emphasize that rifles, like any other firearm, are tools...things...and have no intent to do good or evil.
I'm suggesting he's posting in response to some of the left wing anti-rights members on TBN...

Roy your probably right, didn't cross my mind, but I have seen and avoided what you mentioned concerning other post.

So, what weapons are the tyrants holding today, and how will my rifle stack up?

Better believe I'm for citizens being able to outgun the tyrants. Might be a bit late for that, though.
