1987 john deere 855 sold and bought a YT235 Yanmar, love this tractor
This past week was a working vacation, some heavy work some light. Took off my backhoe off of my Yt235, and having trouble with the right hand arm pin that connects 3 point hitch to tractor, it's so tight I can barely push it in and out. And of course you can only use the tips of your fingers to start the process after removing the snap locking clip. Left side you can move smooth as silk. So not sure if I need a new pin and socket for the right side arm. Anyone else have issues with the lower arm pins on their Yanmar.
One sidebar is, if I do need a new pin and socket I have to jack up tractor remove rear tire (which are loaded) because there is no pin clearance towards the steel rim.

I have an oops to report, 3 month ago I decided to take backhoe off, needed some york rake work. Was able to use vice grip to grab pin end and gently tapped on vice grip to move pin out, worked relatively well. After the work dropped attachment and proceeded to investigate pin problem. Removed arms, pin was stiff as a board. Cardboard under and blasted pin and socket full and covered with lubrication plus rubbing oil in and on pin, after this exercise the pin slide like on ice. So I am embarrassed.

An aside to that I noticed one of my lower 3 Pt arms was missing the square turn buckle. The left arm, drove to South Glens Falls to Emrick Sales and Service. They had them in stock, but they had the original smaller ones, the ones I need are longer the squared part is like almost 2 inches longer. This problem originated from using 3 point hitch arms all connected up they hit the heavy bracket for backhoe mount. Going down it won't quite hang up but the implament catches and jerks going up or down hitting the bracket. Parts man brings bag out it's the smaller versions. I did tell him I have a plastic bag the new ones I got before so I would have to go home call back with info. Well wrong number.
I did search on Tractorbynet and I found emails from Yanmar Corporation about this very issue. Recall says you get new longer turn buckles and new lifting links.
Called left message, spoke of recall information.
Should get off my duff and call to see if any results were discussed.

I wasn't able to figure out how to add pictures and documents so I typed it out, hope someone can use this info.
When this was brought to the attention they handed me a heavy bag with new turnbuckles nothing else. So here we go again. Yes completely my fault in losing one turnbuckle I can and will pay for those but the new links should be on them as the links were never handed over to me other than bag of turnbuckles.

The picture of information on my post was given to one of the branches of Emrich Sales and Service. Charlton and South Glens Falls were sold to Salem Farm Supply so the Emrichs in Melrose, NY is the only Yanmar around our area that I know of.
Anyway parts people are tracking this for me with Yanmar. Holding out hope this gets resolved.
I lost one of the adjustable chain links on 3 point lower arms, I will purchase those as I admit losing one.
But the lifting links should have been included, those should be free.
Keep you posted.
