Are there RimGuard dealers in Northern California?

Preferably within 50 miles of Petaluma, or else in the Valley within 50 miles of the I-80 corridor - to say Stockton, Yuba City, etc.

Answer as of a few months ago--No. Per telecon with the nice lady at RimGuard in Michigan. Apparently folks in NoCal who load their tires use straight H2O since there's no freeze problem here in the Valley (RimGuard is a pretty good antifreeze to -35F)

Up here in Oregon the Les Schawb tire stores get it or some similar Bio ballast through their Prineville warehouse. You may go ask them if they can get it but it usually comes in those big pallet sized liquid tote containers that is more than enough to do a few tractors.

Flusher, I remember your post a few months back. But I was still hopeful...

I wonder about Reno or the Eastern Sierras?? That's snow country.

Water ballast works fine in my first tractor but I just bought a smaller YM186D with 16 inch ag tires, and it needs more ballast. When an implement on the back snags on something the engine pitch doesn't even change, it just starts tossing dirt out from under the back tires.


Dave, I'll ask Les Schwab. With all the ag in the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys, there must be something available.
