Does anyone have any experience installing RIMGUARD in their tires. I was told that I would need to replace my valve stems from rubber to metal-does this stand true?

I would switch to this on a couple of machine if I had SPARE cash!

I can't see the rubber requirement. The rims are steel and won't be effected by the Beet Juice. Maybe they are worried that the valve has been compromised if it has been in Calcium. That is always where my wheels leak!

You need a air liquid stem to be able to hook the pump to it, they are brass.

I have never heard of a backyard installation of RimGuard as I have with calcium . I inquired about this myself a couple of years ago and was told the stuff is only sold in large quantities to vendors and takes a special pump to get it in. This pump is also expensive. It seems it is not regular guy friendly.

When I had Rim guard put in my rear tires, the guy recommended that I put tube in and fill them so I did. I don't know if they had special valve stem or not.

My Local Tire Company no longer installs the beet juice too expensive didn't sell well. The do the Calcium which is very inexpensive and windshield washer fluid. I went with the Windshield washer fluid it cost is a little more but it is less corrosive. I had tubes installed, they can do without installing tubes but i wanted to be double sure of no leaking "my tires already had issues they fixed for me. Total cost new tubes installed & filled 50gal washer fluid = just over 300.00. Wilson Tire in Ohio 1-800-686-9279 Call Ahead to make sure they have your tubes in stock before you show up to avoid delays these guys are the best around my area in ohio they have 3 locations. Definitely recommend.

OK guys
I'm going to answer my own question. I just installed RIMGUARD in my tires & first say it was a very simple task. I purchased 30 gallons for $90.00. It took me about 3hrs thats w/changing valve stems from rubber to metal. I saved $300.00. This was a HUGE improvement to my tractors capabilities. If anybody has any questions just PM me.
