Just want to put this out to see if anyone else has had to deal with this level of ******** from a RK Tractor mobile service tech.
So I had an issue with my RK24 Tractor the PTO quit working, and the rear differential had been leaking for over 2 years, I've replaced all the bolts twice, used RTV putting it back together even used thread locker and still bolts will not stay tight and or break. so I called the mobile service tech about it because my local store mechanic is worthless, a 3 toed sloth moves faster.
The mobile tech told me he would have to take my tractor home to his shop for convenience to work on it. He charged me $150.00 to come look at it (tractor is still under warranty) he took it home to his shop , had my tractor for 7 weeks to the day working on it, ended up being a wiring harness that was bad covered under warranty along with rear diff. charged me $20 parts to replace a fan blade that was ok with me. The part that PISSED ME OFF was he tried to charge me an additional $250.00 to bring my tractor back to me, so recap that was $150.00 to come look at it, take it for 7 weeks and then another $250.00 to bring it home all while under warranty. anyone else have something like this happen to them? please reach out to me I would like to know more if it has. lucky for me he dropped of a loaner tractor so I told him kiss my ass on the BS charges I wasn't going to pay them and keep my tractor I already had one. And if that wasn't bad enough he wasn't going to bring it to my house he wanted me to pick up my tractor at the store 5 miles from my house when he had to come to my house to pick up his loaner tractor he left for me. So now I have my tractor back only to find out I have bolts loose, he separated the differential added new hydraulic oil but didn't install a new filter, I now have an oil leak on bottom of right front axel and the tractor now dies after I start it for no reason didn't do that before and now my top speed in high range wide open on flat ground is only 6-7 mph, that's what the book calls for in low range. so I guess I'm going to spend my weekend fixing all the screw ups the so called tractor mechanic did.
