RK37
I have had the tractor 5 years. Up til a year ago I frequently had the rpm's up high enough so there was no issues. I let someone borrow the tractor. They didn't abuse the tactor, but was unaware of the regen system. I went to use the tractor after it was returned. First thing I noticed was the rpm's wouldn't go above 2100. Then I saw the console check engine and regen . When I push the regen system button to manually regen for 3 -5 seconds, the light inside the button flashes a few time and goes out, nothing happens ( brake lock is on) . I tried pulling the throttle back , still not above 2100 rpm's. 45 minutes later, no change. I have since moved from Tennessee where I purchased it, down to NE Louisiana. So no Rural King. RK mechanic said I can find a TYM dealership, but even that is far, and no trailer + don't know anyone. I have read about resetting the regen system. So far no luck in finding instructions. Any advice sure sure be appreciated !

I've had issues with my RK37 doing the exact same thing to the extent I had to have a forced regen with the diagnostic tool. However, I have found if I follow these steps I can get it to go into regen.
1. Engine running at idle speed
2. Push the block regen button to the left of the regen button (light will illuminate)
3. Turn off ignition, wait for block regen button light to go off.
4.push the block regen button again (off position), With ingnition off.
5. With parking brake set, pto off, and in neutral, start the engine. Regen needed will appear on screen and regen button will be flashing.
6.Push and hold regen button for about 5 seconds. The regen indicator will appear on screen and it should idle up within a few seconds.

It will run for 30 mins to an hour. Occasionally I have had it stop regen for unknown reasons and I have had to repeat the process a few times.

Good luck.

I attempted several times with the same results. Tractor off, turned off regen stop . Started , held the regen button down for 5 seconds. When I let go, with 2 seconds light goes out. Thank you though !

Make sure you turn the regen off button while the tractor is on, then turn the tractor off. The regen off should stay illuminated for several seconds when the ignition is off. When the light goes out, press the regen button to off and start the tractor. Then follow the steps. Very frustrating. I totally understand.

I copied your earlier instructions and printed them out :) . In hand reading the check list. I wonder if someone local has a diagnostic meter I could try. There is a JD dealership, but , you know, they don't do anything cheap. And they want it brought in. I lack any means to do so.
