Robbery Victims Seeking Help

We recently watched a program on one of the TV "news magazine" networks about movers like that.

And our local newspaper lists not only all the crimes, but each call the officers respond to, both for the city police and the sheriff's department. We will occasionally, though infrequently have something like GlennT posted (though I haven't seen any on quite that scale), and it's almost invariably a place where no one lives (city folks who have farms and/or weekend cabins) and no one is around for days or weeks at a time.

I heard a story about some guys who backed the moving truck up to the summer house and cut a hole in the wall with a chain saw and cleaned the place out. I always wondered if it was for real. I know if I tried to chain saw a wall I would hit a nail and that would be all she wrote.
