rock shaft adjustment arm hard to move , 4310 e power reverser

the rock shaft control handle is very hard to move up or down , some one told me it could be friction washers causing the problem , also a fault code is showing and the dealer said it was the clutch switch , can someone tell me where it is located and how much trouble it is to change
