After the rockshaft lift arms are fully raised they have a free travel. I have the service manual for my JD770 that gives a procedure to adust the amount of free travel. However, the procedure is written for the JD1070 (270-15-17)only and it gives a free travel spec for that tractor of 5-9mm. It doesn't give the spec for the JD770.
Does anybody know the spec for the free travel of the rockshaft lift arms for the JD770? My tractor is currently set at about 3.5mm.
