I have a PoweReverser 4500 w/ a 48 backhoe on it. I bought it 2 years ago from a JD dealer w/ the backhoe attached and have never taken it off. I tried to take the backhoe off yesterday and the rockshaft as not lifting at all. There is even some slack between the rockshaft pins and where they engage the backhoe. I noticed that the rockshaft control lever was all the way up. Reading the backhoe operator manual they warn about not having the hydraulic system going to relief mode for more than 10 seconds or the heat buildup may damage the hydraulic pump/system. Seems like this is what happened here.
Anybody have any suggestions before I go to the dealer to get this fixed? Any guesses on how extensive the damage is or how much it will cost to get fixed?
