where might I look to find a set of ROP痴 for a 78 Massey Ferguson.

You might look at a Massey Ferguson dealer to see if they can order one. You can get ROPS for many tractors through Tractorco.com. I think they go for about $800. They actually get them out of California for about $750 but of course shipping is added. I may or may not be able to recall the name of the California outfit.
