I'm looking for a reliable, reasonably priced supplier for rolling type overhead door about 10X10' for storage building to be erected this summer. I'm in NE PA? Any suggestions appreciated.

I have a 10x10 roll up door on my pole barn and I think Eddie Walker has one as well. I do not know the brand name, my builder got it through the company that sold pole barn packages, you might start there.
I am happy with mine. The builder put some of the double foil covered bubble wrap on the door for insulation. It works pretty good. The door is dark brown and points South, when the Sun hits it, even on the coldest day, the door is warm on the inside of the insulation. Before the insulation was installed I could not touch the door on a sunny day in the Winter with out getting burned. The door is not easy to install due to the weight, check out Eddie's threads on installing his door, he does a good job of describing the way he installed his.

David - I didn't know you could insulate a roll up. I have 2 10x10 roll ups and have never liked them because they are not insulated while the rest of the building is. Have considered changing them out to regular garage type doors.
Is the bubble wrap stuff one large sheet that covers the entire door? Do you know where he got it? My doors roll up pretty tight. I would have thought that would crush the bubbles. Or if not, the diameter of the roll would grow much more than it would without the insulation. You got my interest.

The foil covered bubble wrap is approximately 1/4 of an inch thick and is 24 inches wide. The insulation is taped with a heavy duty foil tape at the top of the door and unrolled the length of the door. It is then pulled snug and taped at the bottom. The next roll is taped at the top and is snugged up to the first strip, then pulled snug and taped at the door bottom. This is done until the door is covered. The strips are then joined with strips of the tape running from the top of the door to the bottom at each seam.
Hope this isn't too confusing.
The only problem I have had is when the door rolls up there is a guide on each side of the door that stop the door from leaving the metal side track, it hit the insulation and tore about a 6 inch strip of the foil. I taped the tear and put some spacers under the guides so they clear the insulation as the door rolls up. The bubbles do not crush and the size of the metal roll does not change.
I have had the door for around 4 years and aside from the above mentioned problem it has been great.
I think Home Depot sells the foil insulation, not sure about the tape.

Around here the local steel roofing suppliers carry the overhead roll up type doors.A 10' x10' door kit for under $400.00.I found this out after I paid a $1000.00 for one with instalation from a door company.I watched the install and it took about an hour.

The roll up door is about 250 feet from the road and I get quite a few tractor trailer rigs going past all day long so it is hard to tell if there is any noise level difference because they sound like they are coming up my driveway. There is something about the location of my pole barn or something about its construction because the sound actually sounds like it is amplified. The building is well insulated as well. I have a little bit of a hearing problem so it doesn't bother me too much.
