Has anyone used Rollins or Tennesee River Implement implements? Im looking at rotary cutters at the moment but they both appear to be 'full line' mfgs. My NH dealer sells Rollins and the coop sells TRI. Both companies are local to me (Rollins is in Cleveland and TRI is in Decatur) and Im not sure how much exposure they get beyond TN. My dealer had none on his lot and neither did the coop. Not sure if thats b/c they sell well or what. My immediate neighbors have other brands. Any one??

I can’t speak for the rotary mower but I do have a Rollins box blade and one of their rear blades. I’ve owned both for about five years and they have held up without problem. The box blade is a bit on the light side which would be my only negative comment.

It is interesting to know they are made in Tennessee. Mine came from N. Georgia not too far from your state.

I also priced a box blade (Rollins) which was very inexpensive. I suspected it was somewhat on the light side. Just guessing but I think they have diff lines based on duty which translates into bottomline.

So, you got no manuals or anything w/ your blades? My dealer gave me a cutter manual just so I could get an idea of what I was buying.

Are you in N GA? If so Cleveland isnt all that far N of you.

No manuals with the pieces I bought nor have I ever seen Rollins whole product line. If they offer a heavier box blade you can’t go wrong with weight for a box blade. Mine is also one that has a swinging rear blade on the box. There have been a lot of discussions as to whether that is an advantage or disadvantage. If your shopping do a search and see what has been said.

I don’t live in that area full time but do have a place near Dahlonega, Ga.

I have a Rollins rotary cutter that appears to be very well built. The metal is thick and it is very well braced. Overall, I am very impressed.

Here are a couple pics of my mower. I think its their std duty and has a 60hp gear box. I was also impressed by how heavily its built. Its just not a slick as the brand names.

I have a 5' TRI medium duty brush cutter. I've only used it a couple of seasons but it worked great. :). Currently am advertising mine locally for sale as all I have left is areas I can cut with the riding mower. (oooops just noticed this thread is 4 years old :) )
