roof size

could i drag someone off the couch to go measure the roof size on the cab model 3xxx series? need length and width..thank you!

Approximately 58 long x 46 inches wide. Now I got to know why I got off the couch to go outside in the cold to do that???

thanks Dirt, few hundred bucks later and this is why...windham cab off of a jd9xx series..was too big for that machine...with some modification it should work well on my 3320. came with doors, sliding windows, heat/thermostat/wiper etc..my roof is close to yours. instead of putting cab in front of ROPS I may alter the ROPS (i know, i know) will have to get the forklift out and see what fits. also have the backhoe coming, so that will alter the fit.

agreed, tho it will require some alteration. but for the price it is a heck of a starting point. depending on how it fits..i may just make up the difference in lines with some sort of flexible moulding, something thick, that the cab would set on. i can add and remove metal as needed..just the contours..esp on the fenders etc is where a lot will have to be done. I dont see how it would set between the seat and the ROPS as the seat is under the ROPS. The ROPS is quite high, and I may just lower it..setting the cab over it. Doing that will move the cab back 4 inches..which may effect how it sets on the fenders or where the front ends up. If I do this, and it is to short in length (setting on the steering wheel) I will have to alter the front and move the posts foreward. This of course means the doors will not shut as there will be a gap in the rear. etc. well hope to trial fit this weekend so I know which way to go. Then electric to lights/wipers, and plumb the heat lines as they get coolant from the motor..etc
