Hi everyone, I'm from Ontario Canada and own a Kubota BX23S with 30 hours on it (I'm a rookie). With a lot of projects lined up for this summer around the new house, joining TBN seemed like the logical next step to help speed up my learning curve.
3.5 acres of our property will be lawn with a half acre at the rear being bush.
Before we could start construction of our new place last year, our property was extremely overgrown and had to be cleared. I used the loader bucket to push and cut down the brush (I've got a tooth bar on it which worked great) and then cut it up with the mid mount mower deck which I had as high as it would go from the ground. I've attached a picture of what that looked like.
And yes that's poison parsnip.. and also my leg afterwards. Mowing 6ft tall poison parsnip in shorts and flip flops:duh:.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to meeting the community and learning a bunch!
Cheers
