Hey folks,

I have my first tractor here, a 2013 4320 with 400CX loader and I had asked the dealer to install the third SCV (LVB26032) and Power Beyond (LVB26066), among other things. I come to you today asking for help because the dealer I purchased this tractor from in May has been rather unresponsive to my questions and I'm looking for objective advice and knowledge.

From everything I've seen in pictures (because I'm ignorant but trying to learn), the Power Beyond has a coupling hose to complete the circuit of hydraulic fluid flow and an open-center external attachment (splitter, for example) would be inserted where this coupling hose is located to provide power to the attachment. If this is correct thus far then let me move forward a little.

Based on the drawings and pictures I've found (because I can't seem to find real installation documentation in PDF from Deere for *any* of this stuff!), the third SCV appears to be installed using the same hydraulic connections as the Power Beyond kit. I say "appears" based on the line drawings I've found:

...and Power Beyond LVB26066...

I did find some other documentation that indicates a third part, LVA17083, might be required when both the LVB26032 and LVB26066 are both installed:

My tractor, as delivered, does *not* have this coupling hose on the Power Beyond ports:

Note how the third SCV kit appears complete with the addition of two tees attached to the hardlines from which the so-called Power Beyond is being fed via the flexible lines. The only part of the LVB26066 Power Beyond kit that I can see on my tractor is the four-port mounting plate and the quick-connect fittings. Heck, I didn't even get the male/female plugs to keep 'em clean (the red ones in the picture came from TSC).

My question is, is this even a valid configuration for Power Beyond on this tractor with the third SCV? I am having a hard time wrapping my head around this configuration and like I said documentation is very hard to find, especially in regards to multiple function integration like this. I don't know what I don't know and am not afraid to admit my ignorance, so please chime in. Even if this is mechanically sound, I'd like to know if it's right or not so that I can go to the dealer and demand satisfaction if necessary.

I really appreciate your time and knowledge, thanks!

That photograph is not right by any stretch of the imagination. It would not work like that. I think your dealer tried to build his own Power Beyond kit, and did a piss poor job of it.
That PDF that you posted, looks like the one I got from my dealer, and I posted it on GTT technical library.
If you order the parts from that chart, you will have everything that you need. It is all hard lines...no hose except for the loop in the PB.
I'm out of town till tomorrow, or I would take some pictures of mine.
Deere does have installation instructions. Have your dealer print them off and read them.

Sir, I just posted a PM (probably while you were writing the above here in this thread!) to you after reading your contributions to a similar thread on GTT (and also recognizing your name & avatar from an old thread I started here). Thanks so much for your input, I really appreciate your insight and would really appreciate seeing those pictures when you return.

I am pretty ticked off right now and will be calling this dealer first thing in the morning. I had a bad feeling in my gut about this. Unfortunately, I am in central Florida and the dealer is up in GA, so a stop-in isn't really practical.

Thanks again,
Mike

That really sucks that he did that to you. I don't know what he was thinking. If he actually charged you for those kits, I would be pretty mad, and would be inclined to forward that picture to Deere. What an idiot.
I will post those pictures ASAP when I get back home.
