Rookie tire removal

Over the winter the rear left tire on my 1180 Cub Cadet rider went flat it is off tghe rim so I need to take the tire off and reset the bede(?) So I got the bolt out but I still cannot get the tire off the axle Is there any trick to this? I welcome any help.

Try wrapping a chain around the center of the tire and cinching it up take the valve core out and then supply some air to set the bead this way you may have no reason to take the wheel off.

Not knowing the tractor, I do not know if I can safely assume the possibility of the rim rusted to the bolt plate. If it is this, there are a couple of tricks you can try: 1. Raise the tractor and with the wheel off the ground, apply a hold down strap or strap clamp around it's circumfrence in an attempt to create a better adhesion to the rim. See if you can now air up the tire. 2. Take a short length of 2x4 and tap the rim all around until the rust seal breaks. A few squirts of Liquid Wrench or the like might help if it's real stubborn.

The easiest I have found to re-seat the bead is to take a 1" ratchet strap and put it around the center of the tire, ratchet it down until the center of the tire is compressed about 1 1/2" add some air until the bead seats,then remove the ratchet strap and add air to the desired psi. No need to remove the tire from the tractor. FYI.. if you try to remove the stubborn tire by pounding on the inside of the rim, you can very easily drive the axle out of the rear housing. Then you will have to remove the rear end to repair the damage..
