I forgot to put the ROPD down before I put the tractor under my wife's uncle's shed. Needless to say, it did not fit. I broke an arm on the folding canopy ($105) that is less than 2 weeks old and did a nice bit of damage to the entrance to the shed. Good thing I was going VERY slow.

Her uncle just smiled and said he would fix it after I gladly offered to pay for the repair/ help anyone fix it/ or do basically whatever he would like. He is really a nice guy!

Man, I am so ready to get out house finished and get my gargage built. It wil have a 14' door so I can not make this goof again!

BY the way, Pat's Quick Attachment is the HEAT!!!!!

I often read of you guys with ROPS hitting things. Why dont you put something like a spring loaded aerial at the front of the tractor that will hit any overhead obstacle first and give you a bit of warning.

I have a 3PH sprayer with a 10' spread on two fold up arms. They are held up by butterfly bolts which never holds and I am constanly on the lookout going between trees and the like. So I decide to drill some pin holes when the arms are up so I don't have to worry. Normally I keep them about 2.5 feet apart at the top to form a "V" since I barly scrapped the garage door when I first got it. However, this would not work to drill the pin holes, they had to be all the way up. Sure enough, as soon as I am done, I have the 3PH too high and am getting the loader on to make room to drop the sprayer and I hear this 'POP'. Seems the bolts were loose at the rear where the booms mount so damage was minimal. It funny because I thought about it just before getting on the tractor to head into the garage. Maybe Alzheimers is settin'in early!
