ROPS Dealer for F145D?

I recently got an F145D (a tiny little wannabee tractor) that doesn't have rollover protection. I've checked Fredericks Equipment and they don't make a kit for this. Any ideas where I might find one?

I picked up a Vitek V2 front loader, which I'm hoping to get attached sometime, and I'd feel a lot better with some rollover protection when it's hanging out there... (and I'm hanging out there, too...)

For the tiny Yanmar tractors, check with JustTractorParts here ... Yanmar ROPS These are black and foldable. See if their F series B508 ROPS would fit. You may need to take a few measurements to ensure the fit.

Recently, some popular music artist just died when the tiny tractor he was on flipped. It was in the news recently. Also former Congressman Jim Traficant died when his 1943 Ford flipped on him in the barn at a slow speed.

If you can get a ROPS for $1,000 or less, it sure bets being DEAD and the cost of the funeral. :2cents:

The install instructions for the ROPS I bought via Hoye indicate it was manufactured by that outfit: Custom Products of Litchfield.

I think Fredricks contracted Custom Products to start production of ROPS, and that these are the only OSHA-compliant ROPS available in the US for gray-market Yanmars. (and for retrofit on older US Yanmars).

Thanks for all the info, appreciate everyone's help on this.

I just checked my email and got a reply from JustTractorParts, they don't have a listing for the F145, but they want a picture or drawing of the PTO area to try to match up with their stuff. Funny, their email still has the Hercules link in it, but it didn't work, either...
I think I'll call them tomorrow and see what the deal is with Hercules. Also found some interesting threads here about the Hercules ROPS, mixed thoughts on them.

I did check with Fredricks, their ROPS manuals showed they were made by Custom Products, but they told me they don't supply a system for the F145. They didn't mention a custom interface, but it might be worth talking to them again.

Also contacted Little Miami Trading Company (lmtcompany.com, found them on another thread) but haven't got a reply back yet.

We'll add the 800cabline to the list!

Wayne (Little Miami Trading Company) is a good guy to deal with. I don't know if he's still selling parts. (or tractors). I think he's semi-retired.

He has years of experience with Yanmars and used to be one of the core members posting on here.

Custom Products makes ROPS and other Ag items for many older Ag tractors and diggers. This would explain why JustTractorParts wants some measurements. If you deal directly with Custom Products, there is no middleman costs. :2cents:

With the amount of older Ag tractors out there, Custom Products should have something very close or a direct fit to your Yanmar.

Eaily take a rear photo image of your tractor. Then import that to MS-Paint or PowerPoint. Once there draw in the dimensions. This will make the task so much esier for Custom Products to get your a ROPS.

If you do get something worked out with Custom Products, go with the foldable ROPS. Sure it costs a little more, but the ability to swing the ROPS down to clear something or transport the tractor is super handy.

Custom Products has a nice red canopy for about $183 that would match well with my YM2610. It's on my wish-list for Christmas right now. Other places want several hundred and the color isn't right either (JD green, white, silver, yellow, black). Since Custom Products made my ROPS and placed on by Fredricks, then the canopy should fit well indeed.
