Just brought home a new (to me) Kubota B7510. Realizing now that mine does not have a foldable ROP loop and also that it will not fit in the shed I want to keep it in. I'm not able to find much used out there specifically for this model and wondering how many other series tractors this ROP will fit to widen my search. My other option is to have our certified welder knock it down about 5" but would prefer finding the foldable type and simply swapping it out.
I have a B7510 with folding ROPS, my co-worker has a B7510 without folding ROPS. We searched everywhere we could for a used ROPS from a B7510 or B7610 and found nothing. We looked in "for-sale" papers, at auctions, and called tractor dealerships around the country. We finally just made it "folding" ourselves. We made it exactly like my B7510, except for the metric bolt. It cost about $40 for material and it's all off the shelf items. 3/4" pipe, 1/4" steel plate (A-36), and 5/8" x 3-1/2" long bolts (B7). It took about 6 hours to fabricate and install. Basic stuff for your certified welder. My friend and I are both welder fabricators. Sorry I'm no help for locating a folding ROPS, but it is possible to make it folding. I read alot of good stuff here, but I don't post much because of the backlash you sometimes get when you tell someone you fabricated and installed it yourself. I'm just trying to help out a fellow owner of a B7510. What good it your tractor if it doesn't work for what you need.
