ROPS & seatbelt for Mitsubishi

I bought a Mitsubishi MTE2000D and finally, after much research and deliberation, had a ROPS made, and did the install and seat belt last week. In the process, I learned more than I ever wanted to know about putting a ROPS on a Mitusbishi MTE2000D. If anyone is going through this ordeal themselves and wants some help, I'll be glad to share what I learned.

There are a lot of grey market tractors being sold and used without ROPS protection. I think this is dangerous, and irresponsible of the dealers, though I understand the liability issues of aftermarket ROPS's. If I had it to do over again, I'd probably buy a tractor with the ROPS already. installed.

Lack of rops and pto shields is why they are gray market. Mitsubishi does make rops for gray market tractors. I don't know how much they cost. I'm currently designing one for my D-1800.

I know this is an older thread, but I would be very interested in how you made your ROPS. I have an International 254 (Mitsubishi MTE2000) and am looking for one.
