A question for people that have a rotary lawn aerator.
I have a spare axle for a tiller and am playing with the idea to replace the tilling blades with aerator knives or tines.
What is the distance between the knives and how deep are you normally "cutting"?
Another question is if these blades are hinged (as a flail mower) or fix?
My tiller has 27 knives at 120cm width. that puts the blades at 4.4cm from each other. (or 8.8 if i skip half of them)
I dont really intend to work on lawns but will mainly use it for our horse pastures.
Thoughts?
