rotary cutter, 951 48\"

An elderly friend is needing help maintaining his pasture. He has a ford 1210, and a ford 951 48" rotary cutter.

The 1210 runs ok, but lacks the power to go through the 2' tall stuff. I don't have a rotary cutter, just a 48' finish mower, so I'm going to take my nh 1920 down to his property next weekend to mow his pasture with his 951. I know that my machine will pull a 6' cutter easy, but will I be hurting anything by running the 48" 951 ?

I'll check the blade condition and gearbox oil before I start. I guess this model has a shear bolt somewher on it. Anyone have experience with this model of cutter? Any opinions?

thanks,
