Ok, I will be using a 60" rotary cutter next week (hopefully) with my TC29D. My question is, when I raise the hitch to raise the cutter up, how high will it raise up? Just a few inches or few feet or what? Maybe someone has a picture of a tractor with the cutter raised all the way up? Also, is it hard on the hitch to drive it around that way? Thanks!

Brad, how high the 3-point will raise it depends almost entirely on how long (or short) you have the top link adjusted; the shorter the top link, the higher it will go (actually that's not changing the height the lower lift arms will lift the pins on the front of the mower, but it tilts it up at the back). As for driving around with it raised, I've done it a lot and never had a problem, but personally I wouldn't want to bounce it up and down a lot on rough terrain because I suspect you could eventually damage something.

Think inches not feet. I can just get the rear wheel off the ground on my Woods BB60 before the driveshaft hits the front of the mower deck.

The best way to transport the mower is to raise the deck up some, but still keep the rear wheel on the ground. That way the deck is rolling on and supported by the tail wheel.

I have a Woods BB60 and my Kubota B7800 picks it up over 2 feet off the ground easily. Just like Bird said, it depends on how you have the top link adjusted. I have mind adjusted so that the mower deck is level when raised.

Mine will lift a good 2' or more as shown in my signature pic.
It was a little light in the front end until I added 200# of suitcase weights.
Mike, if your driveshaft hits the front of your mower, your toplink is too long.

Thanks for the tip. After I posted, I thought about this for a while and you confirmed my suspicion. I extend the toplink in order to reach the toplink on the mower. I'm not shortening the toplink enough before I begin to mow. Time to get a hydraulic toplink!
